Our Meetings

Sundays

We are currently meeting one Sunday afternoon a month at Hare Street Primary School (with a dream of doing this more regularly as we grow),

Little Grove Field, Harlow CM19 4BU

from 3:30-5pm.

Next Meetings are

7th September

5th October

2nd November

7th December

There is parking at the school. Once you have parked up look for the sign pointing the way on the gate. One of us will welcome you and show the way in through the main hall where there will be refreshments.

During these gathering there will be a time of worship with space given for contributions, a message from the Bible, updates on our journey and opportunity to meet other people who God is knitting together into our new expression of His people in our town of Harlow.

Hope is a church for, and includes, all ages although our Youth ministry / Children’s ministry is still under development. If this is an area you would like more information on or to be a part of, please message us.

Please do contact us on the link below for more information on anything above and we’ll do our utmost to answer.

Mondays

At present we meet every Monday. These times revolve around Discovery Bible Study (with food for those who want it first) worship and prayer.

If you’ve not come across Discovery Bible Study before it’s a great way of opening God’s Word together as we read a passage, often in different translations, retell the passage and then discuss four main questions:-

  • What does the passage say about God?

  • What does the passage say about people?

  • If this is God’s Word how will I obey it?

  • Who am I going to tell about it?

Please do get in contact with us for more details, addresses etc, or simply for a chat. Likewise if you’d like a coffee meet to find out more before you come along do get in touch. Find out more about what we are studying on Mondays here.

What’s Happening

As we start July we are grateful to God for new connections both in Harlow and Essex.

God has been speaking to us via the story of Gideon about the importance of trusting Him to extend His Kingdom and not to either discount ourselves or worry about numbers but rather to seek Him with all we are and be expectant for Him to do amazing things in us and through us for His glory.

We also spent time recently with friends at Gateway Church in Epsom and restore community church in Loughton. In both places it was encouraging to see Jesus worshipped and to get ideas for our own setting in Harlow.

If you are reading this then please do send us an email hopechurchharlow@gmail.com as we’d love to connect.
